It is not an auction. It is not a place to hide behind polished marketing and vanished phone calls. If you join fixbg.uk, you are agreeing to a more open way of working.
By joining fixbg.uk, you agree that:
1.1 Selected jobs may be documented publicly from start to finish.
1.2 Customers may leave honest public reviews.
1.3 Serious complaints must be answered and reasonably addressed within 14 calendar days.
1.4 Unresolved serious complaints may lead to suspension from new enquiries through fixbg.uk.
1.5 fixbg.uk may publish your response where relevant.
In return, you get:

The current pricing is €20 setup, then €10 per month. The first month of listing is free; the monthly fee starts in month two. Billed via Stripe; you manage your own card and can cancel any time through the Stripe customer portal in your trader dashboard.
The setup fee covers the work of onboarding you properly: the call to confirm details, the profile setup on the trade and region pages, the photography brief if relevant. The monthly fee covers the work that does not stop after onboarding: complaint handling under the 14-day remedy window, project-journal editorial work, customer-review moderation, and the hosting itself. A one-time fee would have undercharged for the ongoing effort.
No feature tiers. No boost product. No pay-to-rank. As the platform develops, pricing may change. If it does, the published pricing page will change with it, and we will write to every listed tradesman thirty days before any change takes effect.

For an additional €60 on top of the standard setup fee, I will call you, ask the questions out loud, and complete the application for you. You spend about thirty minutes on the phone; I spend two to three hours writing everything up, building the profile, sorting the photography brief, and getting your listing ready. You just need your phone and half an hour.
This is entirely optional. The standard path, fill in the form, pay €20, go live, works fine for most people. But if you are too busy, not confident typing in English, or just prefer a conversation to a screen: the concierge option is there. You will see both when you click Apply.
fixbg.uk reserves the right to refund the €20 setup fee, cancel the subscription, and remove a listing within the first thirty days of the listing going live, at the editor’s discretion, with or without explanation. After the first thirty days, removal happens only under the published complaints policy and follows its 14-day remedy procedure.
This clause exists because we have moved to a self-serve onboarding model: traders pay and go live without an editor approval gate. The thirty-day window is our backstop against bad-faith listings that slip past the soft moat of the €20 fee plus Stripe identity verification.

4.1 You do not want customers reviewing work publicly.
4.2 You do not want any jobs documented.
4.3 You expect guaranteed lead volume from day one.
4.4 You want to pay for ranking rather than earn trust through outcomes.
